About MyDrifts

MyDrifts is an online music marketing service for artists and music promoters. Our patent-pending 'fan targeting' technology helps our users reach new music fans, manage their fanbase, and promote their gigs on social networks. With each MyDrifts campaign, our system becomes more intelligent and our users' marketing campaigns more effective – promising a devoted fanbase and a great turnout at every show.

Why did we call it MyDrifts?

Victor, the CEO, is an avid sailor. Three years ago, he was out on his boat, about 40km off the coast of Cyprus, when an unlikely gust of wind grabbed the sail and swung the boom around toward Victor's unsuspecting head, and overboard he went. Oblivious to Victor's absence, his crew of seventeen sailed away. With only a laptop in hand and a deep understanding of proprietary search, semantic and natural language technology, Victor drifted for days until he was finally carried to safety by a dolphin. The name stuck, most of the crew were fired and Victor has suffered public ridicule ever since.

    Victor Rosenman, Captain
Victor has 13 years of software development and management experience. He served as Senior Product Manager at Sun Microsystems, where he was the entrepreneur behind a highly successful Java product. He holds an EMBA from the Kellogg School of Management and generally avoids leaving the house for fear of hurting his head.
    Oded Caspi, First Mate
Oded has 13 years of business development, marketing & management experience. He served as VP Business Development at Vbox Communications; and as VP Marketing & Sales at social networking innovator Linkadoo.
He holds an EMBA from the Kellogg School of Management and suffers from motion sickness and tight trousers.
    Lior Shamir, Navigator
Lior has 9 years of music industry & new media experience. He founded and served as Managing Director of We Are Listening, providing a web-based artist development platform; and co-Founded VIRV.tv, an indie music portal. He holds a BA from Berklee College of Music, and enjoys singing sea shanties into sea shells by the sea shore..
    Shlomo Swidler, Helmsman
Shlomo has 12 years of software management experience. He served as Senior architect at Sun Microsystems; and as Director of Development at SurfNotes.
He holds a B. Eng from Cooper Union and, rumor has it, may have had a hand in Victor's accident.
